Privacy policy.

Last updated: May 6, 2026

This is the privacy policy for peter4florida.com, the campaign website of Peter Walsh for Florida House District 108 ("the campaign," "we," "us"). We try to keep this short, in plain English, and accurate.

What we collect.

  • Information you give us through our forms. When you fill out a sign-up or volunteer form, we collect what you enter — typically your name, email address, ZIP code, and (optionally) your phone number, your interests in helping the campaign, and any notes you write.
  • Basic technical information. Like most websites, our hosting provider (Vercel) automatically logs basic technical details such as IP address, browser type, and the pages you request, primarily for security and abuse prevention.
  • Donations. If you donate, the donation form is operated by ActBlue, not by us. ActBlue collects the information required by law (including your name, address, employer, and occupation for contributions over $200) and provides it to the campaign as part of campaign-finance reporting. ActBlue's privacy policy is available at secure.actblue.com/privacy.

What we don't do.

  • We don't run third-party advertising trackers on this website.
  • We don't sell or rent your information.
  • We don't share your information with other organizations except where required by law (campaign-finance reporting) or where you've explicitly told us to (for example, if you've asked us to connect you with a partner organization).

How we use what you give us.

We use the information you submit to:

  • Reply to you and follow up about how you want to be involved.
  • Send campaign updates and asks (events, volunteer opportunities, fundraising).
  • Comply with Florida campaign-finance reporting requirements (donation information only).

How we store it.

Form submissions are stored with Vercel KV (a managed key-value store) and emailed to the campaign through Resend (a transactional email service). Donation information is held by ActBlue and shared with the campaign's compliance team for state-required reporting. We retain submissions for the duration of the campaign and reasonable time after, then delete them.

How to update or delete your information.

Email the campaign and ask us to update or delete your information. We'll do it as soon as we can. Florida campaign-finance law requires that some donation information be kept for a statutory period — we can't delete that until the retention period ends — but we can flag your records so you don't receive further outreach.

Cookies.

This site does not currently set tracking cookies. Vercel may set a session cookie used for security and routing. We don't use cookies for advertising or analytics on this site.

Children.

This site isn't directed at children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have, contact us and we'll delete it.

Changes to this policy.

We may update this policy. When we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date at the top.
